How to Check for an Outage
Check in the GFiber App
- Sign in to the GFiber App.
- Any outages in your area will appear in the Network section of the homepage.
Check with our outage tool
- Go to fiber.google.com/outage.
- Enter your street address.
- Select Check Status to see if there’s a known outage near you.
Check from your GFiber account
- Sign in at fiber.google.com.
- If there’s an outage, you’ll see a red alert banner at the top of your GFiber’s portal with an update on when service should be back.
Troubleshooting After Confirming Outage Status
If there’s an outage:

To get outage updates by text, visit Settings in your GFiber account or text START to 434237. (Message and data rates may apply)
