Set Up and Use Passkeys for Your GFiber Account
Benefits of Using a Passkey
Remembering passwords is a hassle — and passkeys are an easier way to sign in.
A passkey is a secure digital key stored on your device. Instead of typing a password, you confirm it’s you using your device’s screen lock, like Face ID, a fingerprint or a PIN.
With passkeys, you get:
- No passwords to remember — Sign in with your fingerprint, face scan, or device PIN.
- Easy access across devices — Passkeys sync across your devices, like an iPhone, Mac, or Android phone.
- Better security — Your passkey stays on your device to help keep your account safe from hackers.
Before You Create a Passkey
Make sure your device has a screen lock set up and is running Android 9 or later or iOS 16 or later. You’ll need at least one of the following:
- PIN or pattern
- Face recognition
- Fingerprint
