Restart Your Router With the GFiber App
Tap restart router and confirm that you want to restart. You may need to wait up to 5 minutes for the device to turn back on. Please refer to the table below to see what color lights to look for.
You can use the Google Fiber app to easily restart your GFiber router.
We regularly update the GFiber App with new features to help make it even easier for you to manage your home or business network. We’ll be making improvements throughout 2025 and beyond, so your GFiber App might look different from the examples below.
If you don't see a Restart router button, you are likely using different equipment:
- Google Wifi or Nest: Use the Google Home app instead.
- Third-party routers: You will need to restart your equipment manually.
