Transfer Your GFiber Internet Service to a New Address

When you move, you can transfer your GFiber service in just a few easy steps.

Update Your New Address

Have your GFiber PIN ready before starting the following steps.
  1. Open an incognito or private browser window and visit fiber.google.com. On this page, you can check to see if you're moving to an address where GFiber service is available. If you are, you can take your equipment with you and use it at your new location. (If GFiber isn't available at your new home, you'll need to contact GFiber customer support to cancel your account.)

Not all accounts are eligible for a move and you may need to create a new account at the address you are moving to.
  2. With your GFiber PIN ready, contact GFiber customer support. We recommend doing this at least 30 days prior to moving. We'll take care of transferring your account information from your current address to your new address.
  3. Make sure your account balance is paid in full.
  4. Once you receive a notification that your account has been updated, you'll be ready to set up GFiber service in your new home. You can do this in one of two ways:
    1. Make an appointment to have one of our technicians install your service, OR
    2. Set up GFiber yourself with a self-install kit. Some plans require a GFiber technician to install your equipment. If this is the case, customer support will let you know when you contact them about setting up your transfer. Otherwise, select the option to set up GFiber internet on your own.

If you live in an apartment building in Orange County, your self-install process is slightly different. Please follow these instructions instead to perform a GFiber self-install.
